1916 Tula "Peter the Great" M91 Mosin nagant which has a crudely cut Bulgarian Rampant Lion carved into receiver. These are seldom seen and a very interesting example. The butt plate and barrel shank have stamped matching numbers nothing else on this rifle matches. The metal finish is 80% and this also has a Cossack marked Ka.3 marked rear sight. The wood is very good and is Bulgarian Pine Cone stamped in at least two places. The bore is dark and may have minor pitting. Overall condition is very good on this uncommon and collectible rifle. |
